Bowie Home Catches Fire, Displaces 4 Residents: Report
Prince George's County firefighters were called to a Bowie home for reports of a fire on Wednesday morning.

BOWIE, MD — Officials say a Bowie home caught fire Wednesday morning. The Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department responded to the 15600 block of Peach Orchard Way around 9:40 a.m., according to an incident writeup.
Firefighters say they saw a small fire in second level of the single family home. The house's sprinklers went off, and crews report that they extinguished the remaining fire. The flames did not spread any further, and nobody was hurt, the report notes.
The department writes that the fire displaced the home's four residents, two of whom are children. The Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management will assist the residents with housing, fire officials added.
