Bowie Wins, Richmond Loses, Playoff Battle Comes to Final Game Monday

So it comes down to the final game.

Bowie's playoff hopes remained alive Sunday with a 10-2 rout of Erie while Richmond suffered a 1-0 loss to Altoona in 11 innings in a rain-delayed game.

That means it all comes down to this on the final game Monday—to get into the playoffs, Bowie needs to win while hoping Richmond will lose.

If Richmond wins, the Baysox are out no matter what happens in their game. Or if Bowie loses, Richmond is in no matter what it does.

In Sunday's game, Pedro Florimon had four RBIs while Joe Mahoney had three in the rout. 

For Monday, Tim Bascom (8-4) will go for the Baysox to see if it can make the playoffs.
