Boy Dies Two Weeks After Chillum Crash
Prince George's County Police say the 8-year-old was injured Nov. 5 in a crash at New Hampshire Avenue and Prince George's Avenue.

An 8-year-old boy has died from injuries he suffered nearly two weeks ago in a Chillum car crash, say Prince George’s County Police.
Authorities say Chionesu Amona-ra, 8, of New Hampshire Avenue in Chillum was one of two passengers in a car involved in a Nov. 5 accident. The two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Prince George’s Avenue.
Amona-ra died of his injuries on Monday, police say. The two drivers and other occupants appear to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say the car the boy was riding in was heading eastbound on Prince George’s Avenue when it attempted to turn right onto New Hampshire Avenue and collided with another car.
