Crash Involving 3 Cars Kills Virginia Driver In Beltsville: Prince George's Police

A Virginia driver was killed in a Beltsville crash June 21 that also injured several other people, according to Prince George's Police.

BELTSVILLE, MD — A 41-year-old Virginia resident died in a three-vehicle car crash in Beltsville Friday, police say.

Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department are investigating the collision that killed 41-year-old Tamecka Allen of Springfield, Virginia. It happened June 21 around 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Old Gunpowder Road and Sinope Way. Allen was pronounced dead on scene. The injuries sustained by the other two drivers and passengers were not considered life-threatening, police said.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Old Gunpowder Road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call investigators at 301-731-4422.
