CSX Train Derailment Near Hyattsville With A Minor Fuel Spill: Official
A CSX train derailed near Hyattsville Saturday, causing a small fuel spill that was cleaned up by Hazmat crews. There may be delays Monday.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A weekend train derailment in Prince George's County might create traffic delays through Monday, officials said.
Early Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m., emergency responders were called to Hyattsville for a train derailment. A freight train has turned over off the tracks near Route 1 and Decatur Street.
The Prince George's County Fire Department sent crews to the area and it was determined there weren't any fire or gas leaks. Hazmat also determined there was no immediate threat to the public. A small fuel spill was cleaned up, however. According to the fire department, cranes were set up to remove the train cars.

It was reported there were 16 rail cars and one locomotive involved in the derailment. The railway company, CSX, stated there could be traffic delays in the area through Monday.
