DC Police Chase Veers Into PG County

The U.S. Park Police chased a car in and out of the county Friday afternoon. Reports say shots may have been fired.

U.S. Park Police chased a car on the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County and Virginia on Friday afternoon, with media outlets reporting shots may have been fired.

A Virginia State Police dispatcher told The Washington Post the car crossed the Woodrow Wilson Bridge that leads from Prince George’s County to Alexandria, then turned around and went back to the Maryland side of the Beltway.

FOXDC reports a black Lexus fled authorities on Suitland Parkway in D.C. to Prince George’s County. Investigators believe a person inside of the car may have fired shots at a police vehicle.
