Police Report A DMV Rapper Was Shot, Killed Friday Night In Prince George's County
A DMV rapper known as Goonew was shot and killed Friday night shortly before 6 p.m., reports the Prince George's County Police Department.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A DMV rapper who was shot almost two years ago was shot and killed this past weekend. The Prince George's County Police Department tweeted about the Friday shooting that happened close to 5:40 p.m. in District Heights.
Identified as Goonew, his manager confirmed his death to The Washington Post. The Prince George's County Police Department shared that Goonew was taken to the hospital where he died a couple of hours later.
According to Spotify, he had more than 35,000 monthly listens at his death.
