Drug Dealer Must Repay $108 Million, Spend 33 Years in Prison

A Prince George's County man must pay the government $108 million, forfeit luxury vehicles and spend three decades in prison, the FBI says.

A Prince George’s County drug dealer was sentenced to three decades in prison and must pay $108 million in penalties, under a federal judge’s sentence.

The FBI says Ishmael Ford-Bey, 40, of Mitchellville was sentenced Thursday to 33 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, for conspiracy, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, using a phone to facilitate drug distribution, and money laundering.

A federal judge also ordered Ford-Bey to forfeit personal property, including luxury vehicles, jewelry and cash. Authorities say he used proceeds from cocaine sales to buy a Mazerati, Land Rover, Lexus and Audi, as well.

According to court documents, from at least January 2011 through his arrest on August 16, 2013, Ford-Bey conspired with Anthony Tatum and others to distribute cocaine in Prince George’s County, Washington, D.C. and Oxon Hill.

The illicit money also paid for jewelry and to rent his apartment and for travel expenses, authorities claim.
