Elderly DC Woman Dies from Chillum Crash Injuries
The Northeast Washington woman was alone when her car hit a tree in early January; she died last week.

A Washington, D.C., woman died last week of injuries she suffered in an early January Chillum car crash, which Prince George’s County Police continue to investigate.
Police on Thursday asked the public to share any information they might have on the single-vehicle crash that killed Christine Ali, 75, of Channing Street in Northeast Washington.

Ali’s car crashed into a tree about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at the intersection of Carson Circle near LaSalle. Authorities say Ali was the car’s driver and only occupant. She was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries on Jan. 27.
Investigators believe Ali was driving on Carson Circle when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the car.
