Election Results 2015: Mayor Re-Elected; At-Large Council Close Call
Mayor Robinson received 64 percent of the votes Tuesday; the race for at-large City Council was close.

Voters in the City of Bowie overwhelmingly re-elected G. Frederick Robinson as mayor on Tuesday, Nov. 3, according to unofficial results. He received 4,164 votes for 63.9 percent of ballots cast in the race.

All city offices were up for election, and every race is contested.
City Council winners are: District 1 - Esteve, District 2 - Polangin, District 3 - Glass, District 4 - Trouth.

Results are not in yet for the two at-large council seats. The city said on Twitter about 9:30 p.m that Henri Gardner and James Marcos were ahead for the at-large positions.
According to a news release, Gardner and Marcos both received 34 percent of the votes in their race, followed closely by incumbent Dufour Woolfley, who was not re-elected with 31 percent.
In 2013, voters supported an advisory ballot question to change the terms of office from two to four years. Those elected next Tuesday will be the first to serve four-year terms.
Winners will be sworn in on Monday, Nov. 16. The results are considered unofficial until certified by the Board of Elections.
