Family OK, Dog Rescued from Bowie House Fire
More than 30 Prince George's County firefighters and medics were called to the scene Wednesday afternoon.

Prince George’s County firefighters rescued a dog from a house fire in the 100 block of Jewett Place in Bowie that left the family displaced, says spokesman Mark Brady.
Brady says 35 firefighters and medics were at the scene of the large single-family home fire.
The residents were not injured and firefighters saved the family’s dog.

No injuries have been reported.
The fire appears to have started in the garage. Authorities have not determined what the cause might have been.
