Fashion Show This Weekend at National Harbor Benefits Veterans
The Carhartt Fashion Show on Sunday will raise money for the Maryland-based "Hero Dogs" charity.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — A fashion show to benefit veterans is coming to Prince George's County this weekend. The National Harbor will host the Carhartt Fashion Show this Sunday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. at the waterfront plaza to benefit an organization that places service dogs with veterans.
Hero Dogs is a Maryland charity that raises, trains and places service dogs with veterans, who do not have to bear any of the cost. Some of the organization's dog handlers and their children will model Carhartt fashions for the show, and anyone who donates at least $10 to Hero Dogs gets a free signature Carhartt hat, according to a statement.
Carhartt has been around since 1889 and produces work clothes and rugged outdoor wear from vests to pants to footwear.
