Fatal Crash Shuts Down PG County Road: Police
Police are investigating after a fatal crash in Prince George's County on Wednesday morning.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — Police have shut down a Hyattsville road after a fatal crash Wednesday morning.
Prince George's County Police tweeted at 8:47 a.m. that they were on the scene of a fatal vehicle collision in the 2200 block of Queens Chapel Road near Russell Avenue.
Police added that they had shut down Queens Chapel Road between 22nd Avenue and Russell Avenue while the investigation continues.

Police say a woman was trying to turn left onto Russell Avenue in her SUV when a car struck her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
