Police Search For Gray/Silver Car Involved In Fatal Hit-And-Run In Landover: PGPD

Prince George's Police are searching for a gray or silver car with front-end damage they believe was involved in a fatal hit-and-run May 14.

LANDOVER, MD — Police are searching for a four-door gray or silver sedan with front-end damage they believe was involved in a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday night.

On May 14 around 10:30 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Bell Haven Drive for the report of a collision involving a woman. Officers found the injured woman lying in the road. She was pronounced deceased on the scene, according to police. She has not yet been identified.

A preliminary investigation indicates the involved driver hit the woman as she was attempting to cross the road. The driver did not remain on the scene. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
