Fatal Shooting Reported In Suitland, 2nd Person Injured: Prince George's Police
Two individuals have been shot, including 1 fatally, in Suitland. Prince George's Police continue to investigate the incident.
SUITLAND, MD — A teenage boy has been fatally shot and a man wounded in a shooting that happened Thursday night in Suitland, police say.
On June 27 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 7400 block of Towne Park Road for a report of a shooting. Juan Roach, 16, of Suitland was found outside with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A man was shot but his injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to Prince George's Police.
The preliminary investigation into this incident suggests more than one suspect fired a weapon and multiple individuals were armed at the scene. One firearm was found outside in the courtyard area. Detectives continue to investigate the situation, according to police.
