A fire has destroyed a barn in Brandywine and spread to a nearby home, according to the Prince George's Fire/EMS Department.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A barn caught on fire Sunday afternoon that spread to a nearby single family home, officials say.

Prince George's Fire/EMS Department was called to 13500 Crain Highway in Brandywine around 3:45 p.m. Sunday. The fire was extinguished without injuries, the fire department stated.

The fire is under investigated by officials.
