Friends Argue, One Fatally Shoots Other: Police
A Laurel man is being sought on a murder charge for reportedly shooting his friend, an Upper Marlboro man.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Authorities are searching for a Laurel man wanted in the fatal shooting of his friend following an argument this weekend in Fort Washington.
Prince George’s County Police have an arrest warrant for Christopher Cyprus Crawford, 33, of the 13000 block of Larchdale Road in Laurel. Crawford has been charged with the murder of 40-year-old Tony Terrell Proctor of Parkmont Drive in Upper Marlboro.
Prince George’s County Police say the shooting was reported about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 8300 block of Oxon Hill Road. Officers found Proctor suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives say Crawford and Proctor argued, and that escalated into the fatal shooting. Crawford is charged with first-degree murder.
