Game Chips Stolen From MGM National Harbor By Masked Suspects: Prince George's Co. Police
Police ask for the public's help in identifying the suspects who stole game chips from MGM National Harbor's casino Saturday afternoon.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Several suspects walked into the MGM National Harbor casino Saturday afternoon, grabbed a handful of gaming chips and took off. Police are now trying to identify them.
Police need the public's help in finding the two suspects who walked into the casino around 1:40 p.m. April 22. The suspects can be seen in the video footage shared by the Prince George's County Police Department.
It is unclear how many chips were taken, or what their value might be, according to police.

Patrons told 7News they were surprised at how bold the suspects were.
"It's very surprising. I would think security would be a little bit higher at the MGM I'm also a resident down here, so just having that type of crime happen is a little concerning," said Shirley Hayden.

If anyone has information about the suspects' identity, they are asked to call police at 301-749-5064.
Last Tuesday at around 3 a.m., Prince George's County police officers were called to the parking garage at the MGM National Harbor for a report of an attempted carjacking. The preliminary investigation indicates a suspect approached the victim in the parking garage and demanded his vehicle at gunpoint. The victim and suspect got into a physical struggle and the suspect’s gun fired one round, Patch reported. No one was struck. The suspect then got back into the car he arrived in and fled the area. The victim’s vehicle was not stolen, according to a police report.
