How To Dispose Of Your Christmas Tree In PG County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- Sadly, Christmastime is over, and that means it's time to get rid of that Christmas tree in your living room.

The county will begin collecting Christmas trees and yard trim on Jan. 8. If you want yours collected, they must be undecorated, unbagged, and on the curb by 6 a.m. for regularly scheduled yard waste collection day.

• Brown Station Road Public Container Pad & Recycling Center, 3501 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD (open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon-Sat)
• Missouri Ave Solid Waste Acceptance & Recycling Center, 12701 Missouri Avenue, Brandywine, MD (open 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Mon/Wed/Fri, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tues/Thur, and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat)
