Hundreds Wait in Line to Vote Early in Bowie
Voters report standing in line at the Bowie Library for two or more hours, waiting to cast their ballots.

More than 200 voters were lined up outside the Bowie Library Sunday morning, waiting for the building to open so they could cast their early ballots, according to Patch Local Voice writer Cindy Freland.
Saturday, the parking lot was packed all day with lines wrapping around the building as hundreds of residents waited.
Bowie residents have been weighing in on the Bowie Facebook Page with tales of packed parking lots and hours-long waits to get ballots cast in advance of the storm. One local even reported that traffic was backed up on the eastbound side of Rt. 450 with cars waiting to turn left into the library parking lot.
The Bowie Library is one of five early voting locations in Prince George’s County. Locations throughout the state have been reporting long lines and wait times of up to three hours for those attempting to vote in advance of Nov. 6.
