ICYMI: Where Are the Worst Potholes in Bowie?

With the latest winter storm dumping 6 to 7 inches of snow on Prince George’s County, the brutal weather is taking its toll on Bowie area roads.

Once the snow recedes, there will be a reminder of the nasty winter: in the form of potholes.

Last week, we asked readers on the Bowie Patch Facebook page to tell us where the worst potholes in town are. Here’s what some of them had to say:

• Rt. 197 between Rt. 450 and Tasker
• At the light on Rt. 450 near Taco Bell
• Race Track Road
• Rt. 301 ramp to Highway 50 East

Readers made sure to point out a teeth-rattling pothole near Taclo Bell. Denise Lucas wrote, “The one by Taco Bell was fixed twice now. Hope it stays that way! That thing could have taken a tire off!”

And Christine Connally added: “I agree that one on 450 in front of Taco Bell is awful.”
