Prince George's Police Investigating Suspicious Death Of Berwyn Heights Man: Official

BERWYN HEIGHTS, MD — The death of 54-year-old Sandeep Gupta of Berwyn Heights, who was found unresponsive inside a home late Sunday night, has been ruled a homicide, authorities said.

Berwyn Heights police officers were called to a home in the 8600 block of Cunningham Drive May 12 around 10:30 p.m. They found Gupta in the home unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On May 13, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the manner of death a homicide.

The Prince George's Police Department has assumed the case and will be investigating, officials said.
