The right-hander gives up one hit in eight innings as Baysox break five-game skid with win.

Steve Johnson threw eight innings of one-hit baseball to help Bowie stop a five-game losing skid with a 4-2 victory over Richmond Tuesday night.
Johnson improved to 4-1 on the season. He retired the first 12 batters he faced, and the only hit he gave up was a two-run homer from Roger Kieschnick in the fifth inning as Bowie (25-28) finally got back on its feet.
Johnson struck out seven and walked one in the victory. Jose Diaz pitched the ninth for his 16th save.

Pedro Florimon and Xavier Avery both hit solo homers, and Billy Rowell added an RBI single. Bowie also scored a run on a Richmond error.
