Prince George's K9 Bella The Bloodhound Who Sniffed Out Missing People, Suspects Dies
K9 Bella the bloodhound who spent 12 years with the Prince George's Police Department hunting down suspects and missing people has died.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — After an impressive 12-year career with the Prince George's Police Department, officers sorrowfully shared that K9 Bella the bloodhound has passed away.
Thirteen-year-old Bella joined the police department in 2011 and first was the loyal partner of the late Cpl. Ritchie Smith and then Cpl. Michael Cicale. During her police career, Bella’s skill and nose was responsible for locating multiple missing people as well as tracking down suspects.
"Bella was a faithful partner who will truly be missed," the police department noted on its Facebook page.
