Landover Man Driving Moped Killed After Crashing Into Car: Prince George's Police
A 58-year-old Landover man was killed after the moped he was driving crashed into a car, according to Prince George's Police.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 58-year-old Landover man was killed after the moped he was driving hit a vehicle.
On Tuesday around 7:30 a.m., Prince George's County police officers were called to the area of Martin Luther King Highway and Columbia Park Road. A preliminary investigation showed Archie Alston, who was riding a moped, hit the front corner of a vehicle while attempting to cross over Martin Luther King Highway and onto Columbia Park Road. He was pronounced dead on scene. The other involved driver remained on the scene and was not injured, the police department reported.
