Late Binghamton Rally Drops Baysox
Mets score three in eighth to beat Bowie, 4-1, Saturday night.
Bowie scored in the first inning but couldn't do much after that, and Binghamton used a three-run eighth to pull out a 4-1 victory Saturday night at Prince George's Stadium.
Joe Mahoney knocked in Bowie's run in the bottom of the first to tie the game, but the Mets got busy against Baysox reliever Raul Rivero (0-2) in the eighth. They scored three runs on three hits, the big blow being a two-run double for Joshua Satin—who hit for the cycle Friday night.
The Baysox finished with only four hits, but they left seven on base in the loss.

The loss also wasted a good start from Pasadena native Chorye Spoone, who gave up one run on six hits in seven innings. He struck out nine and walked only one-- but came away with a no-decision.
Bowie slipped to 36-36 with the loss, sitting in third place 5 1/2 games out.
