Latest PG County Coronavirus Numbers By ZIP Code
Prince George's County is breaking down the latest numbers of positive coronavirus cases in the county by ZIP code.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — On Thursday morning, the Maryland Department of Health confirmed that there were 2,722 cases of the new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, in the Prince George's County, the most of any county in the state. The overall number of deaths in the county due to virus is 70.
In the past day, 754 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Maryland, state health officials said Thursday morning. Now there are 10,784 confirmed cases statewide of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus.
The Maryland Department of Health is releasing information about the new coronavirus by ZIP Code and the PG Heath Department began reporting that information on its website.

PG County Executive Angela Alsobrooks issued an executive order saying that all county residents must wear a mask or face covering when shopping at PG County grocery stores, pharmacies and large chain retailers. This order applies to both shoppers and employees of the stores.
