BELTSVILLE, MD — Police said a Laurel woman died after a three-vehicle crash in Beltsville. Officers identified the victim as 28-year-old Irma Gabriel Saravia Martinez. Authorities indicated that nobody else was hurt in the wreck.

Officials noted the collision happened on Aug. 16 around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue, also known as U.S. Route 1, and Ammendale Road. An incident report added a 2017 Chrysler 300c rear ended a 2011 BMW 328i on southbound Baltimore Avenue. The write-up mentioned the Chrysler then hit a 2017 Honda Accord, which was turning right from Ammendale Road onto southbound Baltimore Avenue.

Medics took the Honda driver to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Largo where she died soon after, the press release explained.
