The Prince George’s County Police Department said Monday afternoon that the unidentified victim was an employee at Aggregate Industries. Rescuers arrived at the plant to find the man suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the employee was working on or near a rock crusher when his harness became tangled in a conveyor belt and he was pulled into the machine. This appears to be an accident, police say.
