Man in Wheelchair Struck, Killed by Car in Clinton: Police
Police say the man was in the southbound lanes of traffic at the time of the accident.

CLINTON, MD — A man is dead after a car struck his wheelchair while he was in the southbound lanes of traffic on Stuart Lane in Clinton.
Police were called to the 9200 block of Stuart Lane in response to a report of a collision at around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 28, and found 49-year-old Abdul Jama in the road. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
"The preliminary investigation reveals a car traveling southbound on Stuart Lane struck Jama, who was also in the southbound lanes of traffic in a wheelchair," the report states.

Police say the driver remained at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
