Multi-Vehicle Crash Investigated After Indian Head Woman Dies
Prince George's Police said they're investigating a multi-vehicle crash from December in which an Indian Head woman died a day after.
ACCOKEEK, MD — A 75-year-old Indian Head woman has died and detectives are investigating the three-vehicle collision that happened in December 2025 in Accokeek.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the crash happened Dec. 25 around 11:30 p.m. in the 14000 block of Indian Head Highway. The preliminary investigation indicates that the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Indian Head Highway. The injuries sustained by two of the drivers and other passengers were considered serious but not life-threatening.
The police department stated Jan. 9 that 75-year-old Linda Howell of Indian Head died of her injuries the following day.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
