Newspaper Vendor Sought for Metro Station Stabbing
A Temple Hills man is being sought by police for allegedly stabbing a man Thursday after an argument at the Addison Road Metro station.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A man delivering newspapers outside the Addison Road Metro station is wanted by authorities for allegedly stabbing a man.
Metro Transit Police are asking the public to help them find Daniel R. Brown, 50, of Temple Hills. Anyone who sees Brown is asked to call police immediately, but should not take other action.
About 8:40 a.m. Thursday, Brown was distributing The Washington Post Express paper outside the Metro station in Capitol Heights when he argued with a 24-year-old man, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel told WTOP.

Security cameras recorded the attack and there are multiple witnesses, Stessel told The Washington Post. He said he did not know what caused the fight.
A Post statement said, “We’re looking into exactly what happened. We are aware that an Express contractor was involved and are currently gathering more information from the police.”
