PG County Crime Roundup: Homicide Arrest, Fatal Crash

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The following is a roundup of major crime incidents over the past week in the county as posted by the Prince George's County Police Department:

The Homicide Unit has charged two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting in Capitol Heights in December. The suspects are 28-year-old Julius Senior of the 2400 block of Baikal Loop in Upper Marlboro and 22-year-old Jamal Garner of the 50th block of Bryant Street in Northwest DC. They’re both charged in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Carrington Carter II of Windjammer Court in Fort Washington.

Suspect in Custody for July 4th Homicide in Landover

Homicide Unit detectives today arrested a suspect for a fatal shooting in Landover on Tuesday. The suspect is 24-year-old Thomas Tyrone Sanders of the 6500 block of Columbia Terrace in Landover.

PGPD Homicide Detectives Investigate Double Homicide in the city of District Heights

The Prince George’s County Homicide Unit is working to identify the persons involved in a shooting that left two people dead early Thursday.

PGPD Investigating Homicide in Suitland

Homicide Unit detectives are working to arrest the suspect who fatally shot a man in Suitland early this morning. The victim is 18-year-old Tyrek Walker of Sycamore Lane. A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

PGPD Investigating Fatal Collision in Fort Washington

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Fort Washington. The victim is 36-year-old Jominque Burgess of Kenstan Drive in Temple Hills.
