PG County High School Placed On Lockdown Briefly: Police
Police have received "thirdhand info" about a student who may have had a weapon at a Lanham school.
LANHAM, MD -- Police are on the scene investigating at Duval High School in Lanham after reports of a weapon resulted in a brief lockdown.
Prince George's County Police tweeted at 10:50 a.m. that they had received "thirdhand info" about a student at the school who possibly had a weapon.
"We take all potential threats seriously," police said. "We have officers on scene actively investigating. A brief lockdown was lifted."
