Prince George's Police Sargent Represents U.S. In Abu Dhabi Exchange Program
Prince George's Police Sgt. Martinez will spend 5 months in the International Association of Chiefs of Police Abu Dhabi Exchange Program.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Sgt. Martinez with the Prince George's Police Department has been selected to represent Prince George’s County and the United States as part of a delegation from North America that will be participating in the International Association of Chiefs of Police Abu Dhabi Exchange Program.
The exchange program gathers 34 police officers from 11 different countries and flies them to Abu Dhabi where they take part in a global police academy. Sgt. Martinez and the international delegation will join Emirati police cadets at the Abu Dhabi Police College for five months. Sgt. Martinez currently is assigned to the Bureau of Patrol as a supervisor at Division III, Landover and has been with the department for 10 years.
“I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to represent the United States. I hope to showcase how law enforcement is evolving with societal trends and promote the human element essential to the profession of law enforcement. I’ve enjoyed an incredible career thanks to the community I serve and want people all over the world to realize that if you want to see change you have to be part of the solution," Martinez said.
