Clinton Man Arrested In Elderly Woman's Stabbing, Theft Of Her Car: Prince George's Police
A Clinton man has been arrested in connection to the stabbing of an elderly woman that left her in critical condition, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The suspect wanted in connection to the stabbing of an elderly woman who then stole her vehicle has been arrested.
On Nov. 1 around 8:15 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to a shopping center in the 7100 block of Temple Hill Road in Camp Springs for a report of a stabbing. They found the elderly woman with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital where she remains in stable condition, downgraded from critical, police say.
During the investigation, police identified 3o-year-old James Minor of Clinton as the suspect. The motive for the assault remains under investigation and police say the suspect and victim didn't know each other.

Minor has been charged with first- and second-degree attempted murder, robbery, auto theft and related charges. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-856-2660.
