Suspect Sought In Highway Shooting: Maryland State Police
A woman was shot multiple times while driving on Route 3/Crain Highway in Bowie. Police are asking for help identifying the shooter.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Officers are searching for the shooter who fired at a 28-year-old woman who was driving southbound on Route 3/Crain Highway Wednesday night in Bowie. Maryland State Police with the College Park barrack found the woman in her car with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
Officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department assisting troopers on the scene found spent shell casings and several bullet holes on the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle.
Anyone who has information about the incident or about who fired the shots is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at the College Park Barrack at 301-345-3101. Callers can remain anonymous.
