Suspect In Suitland Fatal Shooting Arrested In South Carolina
The suspect wanted in connection to the Jan. 18 fatal shooting in Suitland has been apprehended in South Carolina, police say
SUITLAND, MD — A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection to a murder that happened in Suitland Jan. 18.
Prince George's police officers were called to the 3900 block of Suitland Road for a report of shooting around 11:20 a.m. that day. They found 32-year-old Brandon Foulks of Suitland outside with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives identified 32-year-old Joshua Dawson of Suitland as the suspect. Their investigation indicated that the suspect shot the victim during an argument. Dawson and Foulks knew each other.

With help from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Myrtle Beach Police Department in South Carolina, he was taken into custody in that state where he remains pending extradition. The suspect has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
