Suspicious Package Investigated Outside Bowie Restaurant: Reports
Bomb technicians investigated a suspicious package outside a Bowie restaurant, reports said.

BOWIE, MD — Officials said they investigated a suspicious package outside the Bowie Applebees last Wednesday. An incident report clarified that bomb technicians reported to the scene, located in the 4100 block of Crain Highway, around 3:28 p.m. They determined the package was not a threat, the write-up clarified.
Police informed that Heritage Boulevard was closed between U.S. Route 301 and Mitchellville Road until the scene was cleared around 6:20 p.m. The investigation drew crews from the Bowie Police Department, the Prince George's County Police Department and the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department, the agencies noted.
