SUV Smashes Into Apartment Building in Landover, Driver Arrested: Report

LANDOVER, MD — Police reportedly have arrested a driver who lost control of his vehicle, which collided with a light post and a tree before ramming into an apartment building in Landover near FedEx Field.

WJLA reported that the driver had been charged with reckless driving, and other charges are pending.

Two adults and four children were at home in the building when the crash happened. The car ended up in the dining room of one apartment, which was fortunately unoccupied. No injuries have been reported.
