Teen Dies in UTV Crash on School Grounds: Police
The 17-year-old died when the vehicle crashed on the athletic field behind a school and community center in Clinton.
A teenager died Saturday night when his off-road vehicle crash on the grounds of a school in Clinton, authorities say.
The 17-year-old boy was killed in a UTV accident on the grounds of the Stephen Decatur Community Center and Middle School, 8200 Pinewood Drive in Clinton. The teenager was riding in a Polaris UTV with two other juveniles when it crashed on the athletic field behind the center-school, according to Maryland-National Capital Park Police.
He was taken to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, where he was pronounced dead.
