Arrest Made After 3 Stabbed in Club Melee: Update
A fight inside a Fort Washington restaurant early Monday left three people with stab wounds, authorities say.

FORT WASHINGTON, MD — A Washington, D.C., man has been charged with assault for a fight at a Fort Washington restaurant early Monday in which three people were stabbed, authorities say.
The brawl began about 2 a.m. inside Martini’s Restaurant and Lounge, 725 Cady Drive in Fort Washington, according to Prince George's County Police. Three people, including a security guard, were stabbed during the fight.

Police late Monday afternoon said they have arrested a suspect in the stabbings, 33-year-old Philip Harrington of 22nd Street in Southeast, DC.
Harrington is charged with stabbing three men inside the club.

The victims’ injuries are not considered life-threatening. Two of the victims are expected to be released from the hospital Monday night, authorities said.
Investigators say Harrington stabbed two other patrons during a fight, and then stabbed a security guard who tried to break up the fight.
Harrington is charged with three counts of first- and second-degree assault.
