Traffic Alert: I-495 Bridge Lanes Closed Wednesday Night

State Highway Administration crews will temporarily close lanes on the Inner Loop of the I-495 (Capital Beltway) bridge over Suitland Road in Prince George’s County tonight, weather permitting.

Workers will close one lane at 9 p.m., two lanes at 10 p.m. and three lanes at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen no later than 5 a.m. Thursday, state officials said.

The overnight lane closures will allow crews to safely repair a deck puncture discovered during routine maintenance.
