Two Men Killed in Monday Night Shootings: Reports

Few details are available about the homicides in Glenn Dale and Hyattsville.

Police in Prince George’s County are investigating two different homicides that occurred at about the same time Monday night, according to media reports.

Two men died in the shootings; the police have not released the names of the victims or suspects.

One shooting occurred at about 9:15 p.m. in the 9900 block of Good Luck Road in Glenn Dale, the Washington Post reported. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The police said the shooting “does not appear random.”

At about the same time, the police responded to the report of a shooting in the 5000 block of 53rd Place in the Hyattsville area, according to WRC-TV Channel 4. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he died at the scene.
