LARGO, MD — Friday is Veterans Day, a holiday where you're always a little uncertain over whether places are going to be open or closed, particularly local government offices and facilities. Here's a roundup of what's open and what's closed in Prince George's County on Nov. 11.

County Yard Waste Collection: No collections (Collections will occur on Monday, Nov. 14)

The county adds in a statement: "TheBus, under the administration of the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT), will operate a regular route service on Friday, November 11, 2016 except for Route 51 which serves County government buildings. Regular service on Route 51 will resume on Monday, November 14, 2016. The County’s Call-A-Bus service, including senior transportation services, will not be operational on Friday, November 11, 2016. Regular operations will resume on Monday, November 14, 2016."
