Waldorf Motorcyclist Killed In Largo Crash
A Waldorf motorcyclist died Saturday when a car reportedly failed to stop at a Largo intersection and hit the bike, state police say.

LARGO, MD – A Waldorf motorcyclist died Saturday when a car reportedly failed to stop at an intersection and collided with the bike, Maryland State Police say. Motorcyclist Dontay Demus, 41, of Waldorf, was taken to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the Toyota is Patricia Arline-Young, 57, of Brandywine. Neither Arline-Young nor her passenger, Sara Arline, 89, of Brandywine, were hurt in the crash, state police said.
The accident happened about 11 a.m. Saturday on northbound Branch Avenue at Moores Road in Largo. Witnesses told police that Arline-Young's vehicle was westbound on Moores Road, approaching the intersection of Branch Avenue, when she failed to stop at a stop sign. The Toyota entered the intersection, and struck the motorcycle Demus was driving.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team will handle the investigation and forward its report to the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office for review regarding charges.
