Washington, D.C., Woman Fatally Hit By Vehicle In Woodmore: Police
A Washington, D.C., woman has died seven days after she was hit by a vehicle in Woodmore, according to Prince George's Police.
WOODMORE, MD — A 35-year-old Washington, D.C., woman has died after police say she was hit by a vehicle while she was in the median of a road.
On April 23 around 9:15 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Pleasant Prospect Road and Bishops Content Road for a collision involving a pedestrian later identified as Brittany Young. The preliminary investigation indicates that a driver hit Young in the median of the roadway. She was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. She died April 30. The driver involved in the incident remained on the scene and has been cooperating with police, the Prince George's police department stated.
