The high school and Brunswick Elementary earned four stars, while Brunswick Middle received three. Across the district, 73% of schools earned four or five stars, compared with 50% statewide. 
• Local Roundup: 'Miracles happen' as Roaders score 2 late goals in 44 seconds to stun Pikesville (fredericknewspost.com) — Brunswick boys soccer turned a nearly finished season into a state semifinal berth with two goals in 44 seconds Friday, beating Pikesville 2-1. Gabe Cabeza tied the quarterfinal on a penalty kick before Charlie Uppercue headed in Matthew Garcia's corner with 37 seconds left, keeping the Railroaders' hopes of returning to the final alive.
