AT&T and Orioles Catcher Hold Texting and Driving Assembly at Western School of Technology and Environmental Science!

No text, email or selfie is worth a life – It Can Wait.

Students at Western School of Technology and Environmental Science heard a message last week that many have heard over and over again as they practiced driving and after they earned their license: don’t text and drive.

Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph visited the school for an assembly hosted by AT&T as part of It Can Wait campaign. Local 98 Rock radio personality Kirk McEwan emceed the event.

AT&T presented a documentary, “The Last Text,” which recounted true stories of people whose lives have been affected by distracted driving. Then Caleb Joseph led a discussion on It Can Wait with students, encouraging them to think about the consequences of taking their eyes off the road to look at a phone.
