Brightview Hosts Dementia Expert for Educational Seminar for Families and Caregivers with Dr. William Mansbach

Free seminar about understanding dementia will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:00 pm at Brightview Catonsville - 912 South Rolling Rd.

Brightview Catonsville, a popular senior living community in Catonsville, Maryland, will host dementia expert Dr. William Mansbach, Founder and CEO of Mansbach Health Tools, LLC and Creator of the BCAT® Test System, for an educational seminar on dementia.

The free seminar for families, friends and caregivers will be held on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:00pm at the community – located at 912 South Rolling Road in Catonsville.

More than 5 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease, one of many forms of dementia. As the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, last year more than 15 million caregivers provided an estimated 18.1 billion hours of unpaid care.

Understanding dementia is key to providing proper care and support to people living with dementia. Dr. Mansbach, renowned psychologist, clinician and consultant, shares care tips and other valuable information that will help provide the right type of support including how dementia affects the brain and physical abilities, symptom management and successful communication tactics.

“Dr. Mansbach has the knowledge and expertise,” explains Larry Dix, Executive Director. “We are so fortunate to partner with him on an on-going basis at the community and are excited for this presentation.”
